Evangelos Spiliotis is an Assistant Professor at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and the Coordinator of the Forecasting & Strategy Unit. He graduated from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, NTUA in 2013 and got his PhD on Forecasting Support Systems in 2017 from the same school. His research interests include time series forecasting, decision support systems, machine learning, optimisation, energy forecasting, and energy efficiency and conservation. He has conducted research and development on tools for management support in many National and European projects. He co-organized the M4, M5 and M6 Forecasting Competitions. He is an Associate Editor for the International Journal of Forecasting and a Machine Learning & AI Column Editor of the Foresight: The International Journal of Applied Forecasting.
